Thousands of anti-Trump events have been planned across the US on Saturday as part of the 'No Kings' protests. Demonstrations drew millions of participants, who took the streets carrying placards and chanting slogans. Marches took place in major hubs like New York City, Philadelphia, Washington, DC, Minneapolis, and others.
More than 3,200 events are planned in all 50 states, with organizers expecting over 9 million protestors. Notable rallies are taking place in New York, Los Angeles, and Washington, with Bruce Springsteen and Joan Baez headlining a rally in Minnesota.
The 'No Kings' movement, which started last year, has seen a surge in anti-Trump events and voter registration in deeply Republican states ahead of the midterms. The White House has dismissed the rallies as 'Trump Derangement Therapy Sessions.'
Saturday's events come amid a call to action against the US and Israel's bombardment of Iran, which is now four weeks old. Organizers have published a map on their website, guiding locals to the protest sites by zip code or address.
