US President Donald Trump marked the first anniversary of the 'no tax on tips' law with an unusual delivery at the Oval Office. He received two large bags from McDonald's, courtesy of DoorDash driver Sharon Simmons, who was dubbed the 'DoorDash Grandma.'

Trump joked about the delivery not looking staged and asked Simmons to join him in addressing the media. He handed her a $100 tip, saying the 'no tax on tips' law was 'something special.'

Thanks to the law, Simmons was able to earn $11,000 in tips last year, which she used to support her family. Trump also invited her and her husband to the Ultimate Fighting Championship event at the White House lawns on June 14.
