US President Donald Trump claimed Iran has 'lost' and 'surrendered' to its Middle East neighbours after Iran's President Masoud Pezeshkian hinted at de-escalation and apologised for attacks.
Pezeshkian's apology came after the US and Israel struck Iran, leading to a war that killed Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
Trump stated that Iran's promise not to attack its neighbours was made possible due to 'relentless strikes' by the US and Israel.
He also claimed that Middle Eastern countries have thanked him for Iran's apology, saying 'You're welcome!'
Trump doubled down on Iran, calling it 'THE LOSER OF THE MIDDLE EAST' and warning that it will be 'hit very hard' on March 7.
