President Donald Trump sparked controversy during a recent press conference by claiming he predicted the 9/11 attacks and Osama bin Laden's plan to target the World Trade Center.
Trump stated, 'I predicted all of it. I predicted Osama bin Laden would knock out the World Trade Center. I made that prediction a year before he did it.'
However, the 9/11 attacks occurred on September 11, 2001, and Osama bin Laden was killed in 2011.
The attacks, carried out by al-Qaeda, resulted in the deaths of 2,977 people and massive destruction in New York City and at the Pentagon.
Trump's claim has been met with skepticism, and it is unclear what evidence he has to support his assertion.
