Pete Hegseth, the US Defense Secretary, is facing impeachment proceedings over alleged war-related abuses.
Introduced by Arizona Democrat Rep. Yassamin Ansari, the six articles of impeachment accuse Hegseth of abuse of power, committing war crimes, and other wrongdoing.
While there are no reports of Trump being unhappy with Hegseth, the President has a history of firing officials facing scrutiny.
The impeachment proceedings will first need to pass before Hegseth can be brought to the US House for questioning.
Eight co-sponsors, including Reps. Steve Cohen and Nikema Williams, have signed on to support the impeachment bill.
