Donald Trump, 79, made a public appearance at the White House Easter Egg Roll on Monday, sparking fresh health concerns over his swollen right hand.
The annual event marked the President's first public appearance since social media users disseminated baseless rumors suggesting he had been admitted to Walter Reed Medical Center.
During the festivities, Trump was seen with a significant bruise on his right hand, which appeared to be covered with makeup.
Journalist Aaron Rupar shared a clip of the President's hand, stating that the back of Trump's right hand is 'extremely swollen and discolored.'
Users on social media promptly noticed the significant bruising, raising inquiries about the reasons for the persistent marks on the President's hands.
However, the White House has previously explained that the bruising results from Trump's frequent handshaking and occasional accidents, such as clipping his hand against a table.
