US President Donald Trump revealed his true intentions behind the Iran conflict, stating that if he had his choice, he would take over the country's oil and make a profit.
Speaking at the White House Easter Egg Roll event, Trump said that while Republicans support his move to go to war with Iran, they would like to see an end to the war and the US military return home.
However, Trump expressed his desire to keep the oil and make money, citing his background as a businessman.
He also warned Iran that they would face severe consequences if they did not open the Strait of Hormuz, with a deadline set for 8 PM ET on Tuesday.
