US President Donald Trump claimed Iran is 'about to surrender' in a call with G7 leaders, but Iran's new supreme leader Mojtaba Khamenei has vowed to continue fighting.

Khamenei delivered a series of warnings, saying 'vengeance is priority 'until fully achieved'.

Trump also mocked UK Prime Minister Kier Starmer over his initial decision not to let the US use British military bases for strikes on Iran.

Notably, Starmer has offered to access the bases for defensive strikes once Iran began striking other Gulf countries in retaliation.
