Labor Secretary Lori Chavez-DeRemer has resigned, amid allegations of workplace misconduct and a toxic work environment within her office.
Two female employees filed Equal Employment Opportunity complaints, claiming that Chavez-DeRemer's husband, Shawn DeRemer, touched them inappropriately.
Staff members alleged that they were instructed to carry out personal chores, and some claims were caught on office surveillance film.
Chavez-DeRemer's husband was barred from department headquarters following the allegations, but prosecutors and police decided not to press charges.
