White House Communications Director Steven Cheung released a statement defending President Donald Trump's work habits, saying he was 'working nonstop' at the White House and Oval Office throughout the Easter weekend.

The statement comes as speculation about Trump's health and care at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center continues to grow.

Trump's fitness and general well-being have been a concern throughout his second term, with various missteps, apparent physical limitations, and health problems becoming evident to the public.

Trump's earlier visit to Walter Reed in October 2025 included an MRI scan, which he said was 'perfect' and showed 'some of the best reports' for his age.

Presidential physician Dr. Sean Barbabella stated that Trump 'continues to demonstrate excellent overall health' as part of his continuous health maintenance program.
