Kent, a former U.S. Army Ranger with 11 combat tours, stated in his resignation letter that Iran posed no imminent threat to the United States and that the war was started due to pressure from Israel and its powerful American lobby.
Former Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene also reacted to Kent's resignation, stating that he is a 'great American hero' and warning that the Trump administration will try to lie about and discredit him.
