US President Donald Trump has dismissed numerous reports circulating about the US-Iran ceasefire deal, stating that only one group of 'meaningful points' is acceptable to the US. These points will be discussed behind closed doors, Trump said on his social media platform Truth Social.
Trump warned that multiple 'unauthorised' agreements, lists, and letters are being circulated by 'fraudsters' and 'charlatans', which will be 'rapidly exposed' after a federal investigation is completed.
He emphasized that the US is only considering 'one group of meaningful points' for the ceasefire, which will be discussed 'behind closed doors during these negotiations.'
The US has agreed to a two-week ceasefire with Iran, with talks set to start on Friday in Pakistan as part of efforts to end the conflict.
