US President Donald Trump is set to attend the dignified transfer of six soldiers killed in an Iranian attack on Kuwait. The troops, aged 20 to 54, were part of the 103rd Sustainment Command and were killed when a drone struck a US command center in Port Shuaiba.
The ritual, one of the most solemn duties undertaken by a US president, will take place at Dover Air Force Base in Delaware. Trump has attended several such transfers during his presidency and had previously announced his intention to honor the fallen soldiers.
