Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has arrested the niece and grandniece of the deceased Iranian figure Gen. Qasem Soleimani in Los Angeles, the US State Department announced.
The pair, Hamideh Soleimani Afshar and her daughter, were taken into custody for promoting Iranian regime propaganda and supporting anti-American terrorist regimes while living in the US.
Afshar commended assaults on American military personnel and installations in the Middle East, praised the new Iranian Supreme Leader, and voiced her unflinching support for the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps, a designated terror organization.
The move comes amid ongoing tensions with the Iranian regime and efforts to revoke Green Cards for foreign nationals connected to Iran.
