Reports have emerged of American B-52 bombers carrying 12 cruise missiles heading from RAF Fairford in the UK towards Iran. The development comes as President Donald Trump's 8 PM ET deadline for Iran is just hours away.

Trump posted on Truth Social that a 'whole civilization will die tonight' but also expressed hope for a peaceful resolution. Meanwhile, online commentators have shared videos claiming B-52 Stratofortress bombers have taken off from the UK and could reach Iran by the time Trump's deadline hits.

However, there is no confirmation on the deployment at this time, and neither the US nor the UK have addressed the videos. Pakistan's Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has urged Trump to extend his deadline for two weeks and has asked Iran to open the Strait of Hormuz as a goodwill gesture.
