Washington, DC - The US and India have agreed to further their cooperation under the Pax Silica initiative, as well as broader economic and technology engagements, including AI and critical minerals. The agreement was reached during a meeting between Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri and US Under Secretary of State for Economic Affairs Jacob S Helberg.

India formally joined Pax Silica in February, marking a significant step in technology cooperation between New Delhi and Washington. Pax Silica aims to bring strategic partnerships and coordinated action across every layer of the supply chain.

Misri is on a three-day visit to the US to review the bilateral relationship, particularly in trade and defence sectors. He also interacted with experts from think tanks on the India-US relations and ongoing geopolitical developments.
