US lawmakers have renewed calls for stronger global action against terrorism, urging Pakistan to act against groups like Lashkar-e-Taiba and Jaish-e-Mohammed.

Speaking at an exhibition organised by the Indian Embassy at Capitol Hill, Congressman Brad Sherman remembered the victims of the 2025 Pahalgam terror attack, where 26 people were killed.

He called on the Pakistani government to clamp down on Lashkar-e-Taiba, Jaish-e-Mohammed, and other terrorist groups.

The exhibition highlighted major terror attacks across the world, including the 1993 Mumbai bomb blasts and the 2008 Mumbai terror attacks.

Lawmakers from both Democratic and Republican parties attended the exhibition, which aimed to remind the world of the scourge of terror and the need for countries to come together to defeat it.
