U.S. Representative James Comer, chairman of the House Oversight Committee, has agreed with Melania Trump's call for congressional hearings with victims of Jeffrey Epstein.

Comer told Fox News that the committee will hold hearings with Epstein victims, who have been in contact with the committee's attorneys.

Some victims are willing to testify, while others are not, Comer said.

The committee had already planned to hold hearings once depositions were completed, and Comer said they still have some high-profile men to question.

Epstein's case has been in the spotlight after the U.S. Justice Department released millions of files related to the late financier, who was facing federal charges of sex-trafficking minors when he died in jail.
