The US Central Command shared a clip showing a US warship in the Persian Gulf directing vessels to comply with the military blockade of Iranian ports.

US forces have directed 27 vessels to turn around or return to an Iranian port since the blockade began.

A personnel on the warship warned that any vessel attempting to enter or exit an Iranian port would be subject to a search and visit, adding that 'if you attempt to run the blockade, we will compel compliance of force.'

The US CENTCOM shared the clip hours after US President Donald Trump announced that an Iranian-flagged vessel was intercepted and seized in the Gulf of Oman.

The US naval blockade near the Strait of Hormuz remains a sticking point in negotiations between the US and Iran.
