The Wayne County School District and the Wayne Community Health Center have announced closures after officials urged residents of Torrey, Utah, to take extra precautions following several reported deaths.
Sevier County officials are seeking the public's help in finding a vehicle suspected to be involved in the deaths.
Anyone with information on a 2022 White Subaru Outback with license plate U560YF within the last 24 hours has been asked to call dispatch at 435-896-6471.
Officials believe the vehicle is involved in the suspicious deaths in Wayne County.
The Wayne County School District has said that its schools will be closed Thursday and Friday, March 5 and 6, due to unfolding events in the county.
Counselors will be in place to support students when they return to school next week.
The Wayne Community Health Center and Kazan Memorial Clinic have also announced that they will remain closed on Thursday.
Residents in Torrey have been urged to lock their doors, remain at home or with others, and be vigilant about their surroundings.
