A Canada-wide arrest warrant has been issued for 24-year-old Amarbir Singh, an Indo-Canadian man wanted for allegedly murdering his partner, Navdeep Kaur.

Kaur, 28, went missing on February 23, 2024, and her family reported her disappearance to the police in Surrey, British Columbia.

Five months later, human remains were recovered near the Fraser river and confirmed to match Kaur's identity.

The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team (IHIT) of the British Columbia RCMP charged Amarbir Singh with second-degree murder on March 6 this year.

Despite possible flight to another country, IHIT is actively tracking Singh and working with law enforcement counterparts overseas to bring him before the court.
