She described the security as 'nonexistent' and claimed that attendees were able to enter the venue with what appeared to be a ticket. Lake also criticized the media for pushing hatred towards President Trump and contributing to the discord in the country.
During the shooting, President Trump and other government officials were evacuated from the Washington Hilton. Several Secret Service members escorted Trump away from the venue, and attendees were seen crouching down during the chaos.
