The 42-second video montage, which has received over 16.5 million views, combined notable sequences from Hollywood hits such as Gladiator and Top Gun: Maverick with images of military strikes on Iranian sites.
Secretary of War Pete Hegseth promoted the video, which also included clips from Transformers, Braveheart, Breaking Bad, and Star Wars, concluding with a voice declaring a "flawless victory."
Liberals criticized the post for trivializing a significant conflict between the United States and Iran as if it were a video game.
Former staff secretary Neera Tanden remarked, "The entire Trump Cabinet is made up of people play acting actual leaders and now they do videos confirming it."
Trump warned Iran on Friday, stating that there will be no agreement unless it is unconditional surrender.
