Who was Hayden Phillips? KSP trooper killed in Warren County shooting; suspect in custody | Hindustan Times

Hayden Phillips was identified as the Kentucky State Trooper killed in the shooting at Warren County, Kentucky, on Monday afternoon, Kentucky State Police confirmed.Kentucky State Police issued a Blue Alert after the shooting saying that the suspect has fled on a grey Honda Civic. A Blue Alert is issued in the event of a “severe attack on law enforcement.” In a follow-up, the KSP said that the suspect is now is custody of the Louisville Metro Police Department.The suspect was identified as 51-year-old Emonnie Branch. Kentucky State Police has not revealed details about the motive.“KSP has canceled the 'Blue Alert' for the trooper-involved shooting,” the KSP said in a post on their X account. “A suspect has been taken into custody by the @LMPD We thank them for their dedication and all law enforcement who assisted with this effort.”The suspect fled the scene of the incident on Interstate 65 in Warren County in the Honda.
