Byron Noem, husband of former DHS boss Kristi Noem, has decided not to file for divorce despite the humiliation he faced during her deposition over an alleged affair with top aide Corey Lewandowski.
A family source revealed that Byron's decision is due to his Christian faith and commitment to his vows, which he believes is his 'religious duty' to stand behind his wife.
The couple has been married since 1992 and have three children together. They went to the same high school and began dating when Kristi was a junior at Hamlin High School in Hayti.
Byron's extended family members expressed their surprise at his decision, stating that his family is hoping he leaves Kristi Noem. However, Byron has chosen to honor his commitment to his wife, citing his calling from God to support her in whatever she decides to do.
