Thousands of users of Elon Musk's social media platform X reported an outage on Sunday, with around 10,000 users experiencing problems with the platform.
The outage peaked at 4:56pm ET, with 60% of issues related to the feed/timeline of X, 29% with the app, and 9% with the website.
Despite being able to open X, users were unable to load posts on their timeline, with many taking to social media to express their frustration.
According to data from Statista and DataReportal, X has around 75-80 million users in the United States.
