Russian President Vladimir Putin's alleged plan to blackmail the United States has been exposed by Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky.

Zelensky claims that Russia offered to stop sharing military intelligence with Iran if the US would cut off Ukraine from its intelligence data.

According to Zelensky, Ukraine's military intelligence has 'irrefutable' evidence that Russia is continuing to provide intelligence to Iran.

The alleged blackmail bid comes as Ukraine is helping several Gulf states to counter drone attacks on their territory.

Zelensky hopes that Ukraine will be able to reach long-term deals with some Gulf countries to raise funds for the production of Ukrainian drone interceptors or receiving much-needed air-defence missiles.
