TWM- Bikasha,  I had the privilege of paying a courtesy visit to Shri Tarunjit Singh Sandhu, Hon'ble Lieutenant Governor of Delhi and Chairman of the Delhi Development Authority (DDA). During the meeting, I submitted a D.O. Letter seeking the allotment of suitable land for the establishment of a 100-seater Boys' Hostel and a 100-seater Girls' Hostel for Scheduled Tribe (ST) students from Tripura pursuing higher education in the National Capital.
The proposal aims to provide safe, affordable, and conducive residential facilities for our tribal students, enabling them to pursue higher education with greater confidence and dignity while reducing the challenges faced by those coming from remote regions of the state.
The Government of Tripura remains steadfast in its commitment to advancing educational opportunities and ensuring the overall welfare of our tribal youth. I am hopeful that, with the kind support and positive consideration of the Hon'ble Lieutenant Governor, this significant initiative will be taken forward and translated into reality at the earliest for the benefit of our students.
