The Chhattisgarh State Investigation Agency has filed a charge sheet against nine individuals accused of having links to a Maoist 'urban network.'

The charge sheet was submitted in a special court in Bilaspur, with the accused set to face a hearing on March 20.

The case originated from a crackdown that began in September last year, when the SIA arrested a Maoist divisional committee member and his wife, leading to the arrest of seven more suspects.

The accused, including Ram Incham, Pawan, and Dhansingh Gavde, are believed to have been involved in propagating Maoist ideology and providing logistical support.

Officials seized gold biscuits, cash, laptops, and mobile phones during the investigation, and the accused have been booked under various provisions of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act.
