Actor Prakash Raj participated in the Cockroach Janta Party's (CJP) protest at Bengaluru's Freedom Park in Karnataka on Sunday. The protest was part of the Gen-Z movement's push for Union education minister Dharmendra Pradhan's resignation over alleged examination-related irregularities, including the NEET-UG 2026 paper leak case.

Prakash Raj, a frequent critic of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), had initially planned to attend the CJP's first protest in Delhi but was unable to join due to 'impending prior work'. He later confirmed his participation in the Bengaluru protest through posts on X.

The CJP has been holding demonstrations across the country, calling for the resignation of the Union education minister over alleged examination irregularities and issues in the education system.

The group's protests have taken place in various cities, including New Delhi, Pune, Lucknow, Amritsar, and Hyderabad. Activist Sonam Wangchuk is expected to address the gathering in Hyderabad.

Dipke, a key figure in the CJP, emphasized the importance of providing justice to NEET and CBSE students and holding the government accountable for its failure.
