Ahead of the ICC Men's T20 World Cup final match between India and New Zealand, Ahmedabad is experiencing sunny skies and rising temperatures. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecasted a maximum temperature of 39 degrees Celsius and a minimum of 19 degrees Celsius for Sunday.
Day temperatures across Gujarat are currently in the 35-40 degrees Celsius range, with a gradual rise of 2-3 degrees Celsius expected over the next three days. The IMD has also warned of hot and humid conditions in isolated pockets of Gujarat, particularly in coastal areas.
As the much-anticipated T20 World Cup final approaches, huge crowds are expected at the Narendra Modi stadium, where the match will be played. Meanwhile, heatwave alerts have been issued for isolated areas of Himachal Pradesh and Vidarbha on March 8, and west Rajasthan could experience heatwave conditions on March 10 and 11.
