An Air India flight from New York to New Delhi made a precautionary diversion to Ireland's Shannon Airport on Sunday after a suspected technical issue.
The flight, AI1102, safely landed at Shannon Airport at 4:30 am local time, with all passengers and crew members reported to be safe.
The aircraft is currently undergoing detailed technical inspections in line with established safety protocols.
Air India has also announced additional flights to and from the West Asia region, with 48 scheduled and non-scheduled flights operating on March 16.
Guests booked to travel on affected routes may rebook to a future date at no additional charge or opt for a full refund.
