TDP MP Putta Mahesh Kumar and former BRS MLA Pilot Rohith Reddy were among several high-profile individuals detained after a raid at a Hyderabad farmhouse.
According to officials, the raid was conducted by the Elite Action Group for Drug Law Enforcement (EAGLE) and Cyberabad police special operations team.
Eleven individuals were tested for drug consumption, with six testing positive, including the MP and ex-MLA.
The MP has denied any wrongdoing, stating he was invited for dinner and did nothing wrong.
