Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw inspected sample coaches for the next-generation Amrit Bharat trains at New Delhi railway station. The upgraded coaches feature modern interiors, including new colour themes, PVC flooring, and fire safety compliant materials.
The colour scheme aims to provide a uniform aesthetic, ease of maintenance, and enhance passenger comfort. The coaches also include good quality seats, fans, charging points, and well-designed toilets.
Vaishnaw announced new improvements for the New Delhi Railway Station, including the installation of 1500 AI cameras for security and ID cards for employees and vendors.
