Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel has marked a significant milestone in the history of Ayodhya by inaugurating the 104th branch of the Shri Ganapati Sachchidananda Ashram. This spiritual and social centre, founded by Swami Shri Ganapati Sachchidananda Swamiji, aims to promote Lord Dattatreya's principles of compassion, empathy, and social responsibility. The establishment of this unit in Ayodhya is a testament to the state's commitment to preserving India's rich cultural heritage and the spirit of 'Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam'. Governor Patel emphasized the importance of empowering women and children, citing the distribution of 2,400 Anganwadi kits in Ayodhya district, which has resulted in fully equipped Anganwadi centres across the area. In a heartwarming initiative, the Raj Bhavan has transformed the lives of underprivileged children through education and cultural tours. One such group of students from the Raj Bhavan Primary School and former beggars impressed the nation by securing first place in the state's Republic Day parade and band competition. Recently, a sports competition was organized at the Raj Bhavan for 500 children who were previously engaged in begging, showcasing the positive impact of opportunities and encouragement on their lives. Under Governor Patel's vision, Ayodhya is witnessing a new chapter of social upliftment, with a focus on public welfare, human service, and cultural heritage. The Raj Bhavan's initiatives have successfully bridged the gap between the government and the last person in society, bringing about transformative and impactful changes in the lives of Ayodhya's residents.
