Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh chief Mohan Bhagwat emphasized the importance of social harmony and unity in Sanatan Dharma, while condemning caste discrimination.
Speaking at a function at Swaminarayan temple, Bhagwat stated that every creation of God has a purpose and that embracing everyone with a sense of belonging is the essence of social harmony.
He argued that caste and class systems were not meant for discrimination, and that when discrimination enters such systems, it harms religion and society.
Bhagwat emphasized that religion exists in practice, not just in scriptures or speeches, and that unity among people is essential to safeguard religion and culture.
He also called for individuals to align their mind, intellect, and actions through self-discipline, stating that religion and values are upheld through conduct, not words.
