Bengaluru: BJP national general secretary Radha Mohan Das Agrawal has accused Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge of instigating a fight between Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar.
Agrawal claimed that Kharge is waiting for the two leaders to fight so he can emerge as a compromise candidate for the top post.
The BJP leader also alleged that the Congress government in Karnataka is weakened by internal divisions and that legislators from the ruling party are in contact with the BJP.
Agrawal further accused the state government of pushing Karnataka into financial difficulty through borrowing and claimed governance has suffered due to factional disputes.
