Union Home Minister Amit Shah has made a string of promises to West Bengal government employees and job seekers at a Bharatiya Janata Party rally, stating these would be implemented within days if his party wins the coming assembly polls.

Shah promised that if BJP wins, the 7th Pay Commission will be enforced in Bengal within 45 days, and government employees will receive salaries recommended by the commission.

He also promised a five-year relaxation for young people who have crossed the age-limit for jobs, and that all vacant posts will be filled within two months.

Shah took swipes at the Trinamool Congress and chief minister Mamata Banerjee, accusing them of corruption, infiltration, and dynastic politics.

BJP's national leaders launched the first four Parivartan Yatras on Sunday, and five more were launched on Monday.
