The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has unveiled its manifesto for the Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council (TTAADC) polls, promising to recognize Kokborok and other indigenous languages.
The 'Sankalp Patra' manifesto outlines several initiatives to preserve indigenous traditions and customary laws, including establishing democratically elected village committees and introducing skill training programs for boys and girls.
The BJP also pledged to open handloom and handicraft training centres, a medical college, and a nursing and paramedical institute, among other initiatives.
Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha said the BJP is committed to fulfilling every promise and working for the overall welfare and empowerment of the Janajati community.
