Rajya Sabha member Raghav Chadha congratulated the BJP on their 'historic' victory in the 2026 West Bengal Assembly Elections, securing 207 seats compared to the All India Trinamool Congress's 80.
The BJP's vote share rose to around 44.8 per cent from 38 per cent in the 2021 assembly polls, showing consolidation and expansion.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah also reacted to the West Bengal Assembly Elections, praising the sacrifices of BJP workers and vowing to restore the lost glory of Bengal.
