The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has finally opened the portal for verification of marks and re-evaluation of Class 12 board examination results, despite multiple delays.
Students can now apply for the re-evaluation process and verification through the official website of CBSE at cbse.gov.in.
The portal was initially scheduled to reopen on May 29, but the CBSE deferred the launch to June 1, citing the need for a transparent and error-free process.
Candidates who have received their answer books can submit question-specific objections if they believe marks were incorrectly awarded or omitted.
The objections will be examined by subject experts through the On-Screen Marking (OSM) system, an Education Ministry official said.
Candidates will have to pay ₹500/- per answer book for verification and ₹100/- per question for reevaluation.
The Board is expected to keep the verification and revaluation portal open for at least 2 days after the last copy of the scanned and evaluated answer book is made available to applicants.
