The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) reported a 'barrage of cyberattacks' on its re-evaluation portal on Tuesday, but the service has since been resumed.

Over 16,000 students completed their submissions, with thousands accessing the portal despite malicious actors attempting to disrupt services.

The CBSE portal saw 1.5 million hits within two minutes and over 1 lakh attempts of unauthorized file access.

The board has refined the platform, extending session time limits to make the process more convenient and seamless.

The portal was opened for verification of marks and re-evaluation of Class 12 board examination results, following multiple delays.
