The Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) continued its protest at Delhi's Jantar Mantar on Sunday, demanding the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. CJP founder Abhijeet Dipke invited farmer groups to join the agitation, saying participation is expected to increase.

Dipke reiterated the demand for Pradhan's resignation and alleged that Delhi Police personnel were collecting Aadhaar details and addresses of people donating water and bananas to protesters.

Earlier, Dipke had targeted Prime Minister Narendra Modi, saying that failing to remove Pradhan would make him the most incompetent Prime Minister in history.

The CJP launched its ‘indefinite sit-in’ at Jantar Mantar, and the protest continued as the outfit calls for Pradhan's resignation. The protest returned to Delhi after the CJP held protests across various Indian cities, calling for action against the recent exam irregularities and the resignation of Pradhan.

Ahead of Sunday's protest, Dipke also alleged that the water supply for protestors at the public restroom had been cut off by Delhi police and security personnel as part of a bid to vacate the site.
