High drama unfolded in Kurukshetra as Indian Youth Congress workers and senior Congress leaders protested against paper leaks in national examinations.

The demonstration, led by senior Congress leader Deepender Singh Hooda and IYC National President Uday Bhanu Chib, sought to escalate pressure on the central government regarding the integrity of the NEET and CBSE examination processes.

Police responded with water cannons and a lathi charge to disperse the crowd, but Congress leaders remained defiant, demanding the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.

Congress leader Digvijaya Singh had earlier expressed concern over alleged irregularities and paper leak cases in competitive examinations, calling for greater transparency from the government and investigative agencies.
