The Delhi government plans to make property registrations fully online and paperless within the next five to six months.

Buyers and sellers will only need to visit the sub-registrar's office for biometric authentication, with all other processes conducted online.

The proposed system aims to eliminate human intervention, create a more transparent and digitally traceable system, and curb fraud in property transactions.

The government will onboard a top-tier software firm to design and implement the platform, which will streamline the process, reduce paperwork, and improve efficiency and accountability.
