A dramatic accident unfolded in Delhi's Okhla Industrial Area on Monday afternoon when an Audi Q8 e-tron lost control, hitting multiple parked vehicles before crashing into a stationary truck on a service road. The driver, who sustained injuries in the incident, was rushed to the AIIMS Trauma Centre for medical treatment. According to police, two PCR calls were received at 12:41 pm regarding a collision involving multiple vehicles on the service road in front of Okhla Phase-I. Upon reaching the scene, officers found that the Audi had collided with three parked cars before crashing into the rear of a stationary truck. Deputy Commissioner of Police (Southeast) Hemant Tiwari stated that the impact was significant, and the Audi came to a halt only after crashing into the truck. Eyewitness Ashutosh Kumar described the incident, saying that multiple cars were damaged, and the Audi was not under control. An investigation is underway, and a case is being registered against the driver of the Audi under relevant sections. No other individuals were injured in the accident, as the parked vehicles were unoccupied at the time.
