The air quality index fell to 'satisfactory', its lowest reading in five months, according to PTI news agency. The national capital will continue to experience cloudy skies for the coming days, with a possibility of very light rain accompanied by thunderstorm and lightning at the start of next week.
Delhi has seen its wettest March in three years, with an average rainfall of 9.4 mm. The maximum temperature on Friday settled at 21.7 degrees Celsius at Safdarjung, 9.6 degrees below normal.
The air quality is likely to be in the 'moderate' category from Saturday to March 23, PTI reported citing the Air Quality Early Warning System.
