Delhi Traffic Alert: Plan Ahead for Hanuman Jayanti Celebrations

The Delhi Traffic Police has issued an advisory ahead of Hanuman Jayanti celebrations in the city, informing that the traffic may be affected near the Marghat Wale Hanuman mandir on Ring Road.

Traffic diversions are in place for the entire day on Thursday, April 2, in key areas including Rail Chhatta Chowk, Subhash Cut, GPO Chowk, Kela Ghat, and Iron Bridge.

Commuters are urged to plan routes in advance, especially those heading towards ISBT and Old Delhi Railway Station.

Traffic will remain affected on several key roads, including both carriageways of Ring Road, Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Marg, Lothian Road, and Netaji Subhash Marg.

Commuters are advised to avoid non-essential travel through the affected area and to plan their journeys in advance.

The Delhi police have also set up elaborate security and traffic arrangements in northwest Delhi ahead of Hanuman Jayanti.
