Former Supreme Court judge Justice Markandey Katju has launched a new party called 'Ishq Karo Party' to tackle India's pressing issues of poverty, malnutrition, and unemployment. Katju has invited Trinamool Congress MP Mahua Moitra to join his party, which he believes will promote unity among people and eradicate their problems through love and unity.

Katju has criticized the Cockroach Janata Party, founded by Abhijeet Dipke, saying that its demands, including the resignation of Union education minister Dharmendra Pradhan, are futile. He has accused politicians of seeking power without genuinely caring for the people.

The 'Ishq Karo Party' aims to combat the evil of politicians seeking power and promote unity among people. Katju believes that love and unity are essential to wage a mighty people's struggle for the emancipation of the people.
