A Fly91 flight from Hyderabad to Hubballi remained airborne for four hours due to bad weather, causing panic among passengers. The flight was diverted to Bengaluru and made a safe landing at the Kempegowda International Airport. All 22 passengers onboard were safe.
Passengers were seen panicking and praying mid-air as the flight circled for hours. Videos of the incident have surfaced on social media, showing passengers joining their hands and sobbing. The pilot reassured the passengers that their safety was paramount and that the flight would be diverted if the weather conditions did not allow a safe landing.
The flight, IC3401, departed from the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport in Hyderabad at 3 pm and was scheduled to land in Hubballi at 4.30 pm. However, it was unable to land due to unfavourable weather and was diverted to Bengaluru. The flight finally made a safe landing at 6.30 pm and was flown back to Hubballi at 11 pm after the situation improved.
